It’s an enemies to lovers with crazy chemistry story, combined with some suspense.
We get just enough details to picture the world without it becoming too much. If you’ve read her Calluvian Royalty series, it’s set in the same world (though on a different planet). Sweet as Honey was just as good, so I’m hooked on this new series.Īlien omegaverse, I think it’s the best description for Unnatural, and I drank it in like water (well, more like Coke in my case, haha). Wonderful chemistry between the characters, the small town Lucy describes is one I wanted to move into right away, and the emotions were so real. Right as Raine is the story of a football player who falls for his coach’s son, and it’s a wonderful combination of friends to lovers, with a bit of a forbidden element (coach’s son), but it has so much more. I read Right as Raine and Sweet as Honey (the second book in this series) back to back, and I loved the world Lucy created. I can already tell this series will be amazing. Roommate had great secondary characters and setting as well. Her writing style is just so effortless, and I got immediately sucked in. I loved this relatively low angst story that combines a roommate situation with first time gay, coming out, some family drama, and incredible chemistry.
